§ 14-9. Operating vehicles on beach.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to operate or drive a vehicle of any kind, including, but not limited to motor vehicles, bicycles, tricycles and similar devices, but not including wheelchairs and other power-driven mobility devices, on the public beaches within the town.

    (b)

    Town vehicles operated while cleaning or working on the beach, town police and emergency vehicles, and other governmental vehicles operating under proper jurisdiction shall be exempt from the application of this section.
