§ 70-43. Turning water on or off without authority.

(1)

Except in emergency situations, it shall be unlawful for any person, not acting under the authority of the director, to turn the water of the town on or off for any premises whatsoever.

(2)

It shall be unlawful for any person to take any water from the waterworks system of the town except in accordance with the provisions of this article.

(3)

This section shall not be construed to prohibit plumbers from turning water into pipes to test the same or for purposes of testing plumbing connected thereto.
